Happy October Everyone!!

Well it is officially OCTOBER!!

It is hard to believe that it is already the 5th...Time is going way too fast! Slow down a tad...I need to savour you!

The Countdown till that special day in December has started in this household. Sometimes I think it is the build up of Christmas and the atmosphere that comes along with it is what I enjoy the most.

The lazy nights in. The merry nights out. The search of getting that perfect gift. Baking( and Eating!!) till your hearts content. Candle lit rooms . Traditional films. Good times!!!

Until then we have birthday celebrations, Halloween and Bonfire night.  In the upcoming weeks I am going to be trying and showing you some great recipes, craft ideas and possibly some 'Homemade' Christmas stocking fillers.

The first craft I have to show you is super easy and involves APPLES!  Very pretty and very Autumnal. If you'd like to have a go at this project then you will need to:

  • Buy around 20 medium sized apples.
  • Slice them not too thin..not too thick (about 3mm).
  • Bake them in the oven on the lowest possible heat for a few hours until they lose their moisture but remain bendy! (Check every half an hour).

Keep an eye out for it on Thursday!!

What does October have in store for you & your family? Any special occasions? Any traditions?

I hope you are all having a good week. It's great hearing from you all and would love to read any comments you have...that includes you lurkers!!! : P

Thank you for reading and love you all!
