My First Emma Bridgewater Piece

For our six year 'going out' anniversary, Ian bought me my VERY FIRST Emma Bridgewater piece! I chose a hearts mug as I knew it would get used most of all as i'm still living at home.

It's something I've wanted for a few years now but could never justify spending that much on a mug. This mug was from 'seconds' sale online and I am amazed at the condition of it. In my eyes there is nothing wrong with it, so I would definitely recommend saving some money and take advantage of the seconds sales.

I hope one day to build up a collection and to have them on display on a gorgeous dresser...one day...

So it's been snowing all day here. It is forecast to snow non stop for the whole weekend. It's frustrating as there were things I wanted to get done out of the house but a cosy snow weekend doesn't sound too bad does it? I'm thinking movies, cuddles, comfort food and crochet.

Happy Friday!

  4. Wow, congrats on your first EB mug! I have always wanted one as well, but haven't treated myself yet. There are so many wonderful patterns and I hear it's addictive. Once you get one, you want more and more! : ) I love the heart pattern! It's what I would have picked too ~

It's snowing here today as well. It's pretty, but my heart is ready for spring. I hope we don't have any snow days this week!

    Stay warm,

    Danielle xo
