My First 10 days of the Shred!
If you follow me on Twitter you'll know that I've been attempting the 30 day shred AGAIN. I started it last year but failed miserably but this time I will be doing all 30 days. So far i'm on day 10. I keep telling myself "I can, I will!"....
I'm terrible at sticking to any kind of diet or health kick regime. I know this might sound like an excuse but I think until we get our own place I wont have a 100% influence on what i'm eating. My diet hasn't really changed at all these past 10 days but I have felt a huge change in my energy levels.
I'm not going to lie, it is very hard to begin with. One minute your on the floor and next your doing jumping jacks. For me I am struggling with the cardio but it is getting easier (although this heat has made it a big struggle). After the work out is complete I feel amazing! It instantly wakes me up and I feel really good about myself. I mean no one regrets a workout once they've completed it do they?
Looks wise I feel I look a little more toned on my thighs and stomach, but so far there isn't a dramatic difference. I guess as my eating habits haven't changed that plays a big part in it. I am not weighing myself as others have mentioned what you lose in fat you gain in muscle. I do have some measurements of myself from a few weeks ago so that will be interesting to compare. Fingers crossed I will see more changes in myself physically once I start level 2, which btw...I feel so nervous about! I wonder how hard it's going to be?
